The Challenge

As a new e-commerce website Baby on the hip was looking to make their mark in a crowded marketplace specifically among the young parents. Their main goal was to establish themselves in the space, building up brand awareness amongst consumers while, more importantly, driving a high ROI. Our goal is to provide the best baby products to the young parents so that they can nourish and pamper their babies with the maximum care. In addition, the baby products are also to be showcased on an Android platform which provides user friendly experience to its users.

The Strategy

During those first three months, we noticed that certain orders coming through were much larger than others, so we studied those patterns. While keeping this thing in mind, we altered our messaging to be “Affordable Price Leaders” and brought on additional inventory of popular commercial brands.

We develop Search and PLA campaigns to target large order queries, and performed a complete conversion rate optimization (CRO) of their site.

The Results

From month three to month four, we realized more than 90% increase in site revenue, a 50% increase in average order value, and 150% increase in ecommerce conversion rate. In addition to revenue, Baby on the hip domain authority has raised 19 points in a 4 month span. With revenue continuing to grow each month, we are now at a 430% lift from month one with no signs of slowing down. Delivered a user friendly app with millions of downloads and thousand+ reviews of app users and new users.
